Company
Overview and Projects...
Our projects are organized
and managed by our lead consultant, Andre Shoumatoff.
Biodiesel Motor Projects, based in Utah, is able to offer services world-wide.
Biodiesel Motor Projects uses a network of partners and contributors that
took us years to develop in primarily the automotive and biodiesel-market
fields. This combination of in-house and out-of-house experts
allows us to have wide ranging backgrounds that cannot be matched by other
companies that offer motor project services.
Currently, most projects
are selected by Biodiesel Motor Projects. However, feel free to contact
us if you think our services may work with a project you are developing.
Custom
Vehicles for these Projects...
For projects that require
custom vehicle solutions, Biodiesel Motor Projects usually partners with
companies and/or persons with experience in the field of the specific motor
sport and with significant experience. We are also able to make recommendations
and evaluations of potential partners, having longstanding relationships
and experience with the builders and parts-suppliers of custom performance
vehicle building.
We also design and build
custom performance vehicles ourselves and build them at our fully-equipped,
2500 sq.ft. shop. Our facility is in northern Utah, east of Salt
Lake City.
Our
Background...
We are a group of several
experts who started from mostly the Toyota Land Cruiser customization and
off-road industries. In most cases, we heavily participated, if not
directly encouraged the massive growth this (and the off-road) industry
has seen since approximately 1999.
In 2002, staff members of
Biodiesel Motor Projects began doing major work with diesel engines (including
installing them into Toyota Land Cruisers that were previously powered
by gas), and we began closely following these technology changes.
We are considered leading experts of diesel conversions, diesel engine
technology, and specifically the off-road industry, in our field.
Our lead consultant, Andre Shoumatoff, is also considered one of Utah and
the Intermountain-West's top biodiesel experts.
We began paying specific
attention to environmental issues related to the automotive sector prior
to our diesel engine work, as early as 1999. You can read more about
this in our
staff biographies. Our
group of automotive experts was officially came together form "Biodiesel
Motor Sports" (now Biodiesel Motor Projects) in 2006.
